Phonely Digital Landline £9.97 a month on an 18-month plan, 1,600 UK minutes included (800 to UK landlines and 800 to UK mobiles), rising to £11.97 a month from 1 April 2027. An internet connection is required.

If you've had a letter from TalkTalk saying your broadband and phone have moved to Fleur Telecom, you're one of around 13,500 households who received the same one, and it's completely understandable to feel unsure about it. Here is what has actually changed, and what hasn't.
That last point is the one worth pausing on. Nothing needs doing today. But the switch-off means a decision is coming, and you get to make it. You can wait for Fleur to move you on their schedule, or you can choose who looks after your landline now, and keep everything else exactly as it is.

Phonely is a specialist digital landline. Rather than running over the copper line, your calls run over your broadband connection. That can be Fleur, BT, Sky, Virgin or a local full-fibre provider; we don't mind, and you don't need to change it.
If you have been looking at landline-only deals and found that every one of them wants to sell you broadband as well, this is the exception.

Fleur sells its home phone as line rental plus a separate call bundle, and because transferred customers keep their old TalkTalk pricing, no two bills look quite the same. So rather than guess, we'd rather you used your own figure.
Take the phone line figure from your latest bill (line rental plus any call bundle) and pop it in below.

We've been reading the same forum threads you may have found. Most people aren't angry; they're unsure.
It's genuine. Fleur is a real UK provider and part of the TalkTalk group. If you're ever unsure about a call or email claiming to be from a phone company, hang up and ring the number printed on your bill.
Providers are allowed to transfer customers between companies as long as your terms don't get worse. It doesn't feel great, and you're right that it should have been explained more clearly.
Possibly a coincidence, possibly not. Either way, it's a good moment to think about scam-call protection, and CallGuard is built for exactly that.
If your minimum term with TalkTalk has ended, yes, and most long-standing copper customers are out of term. If you're not sure, we'll help you check before you commit to anything.

Many of the households in this transfer have had the same number for 20 years or more. For a lot of them the landline isn't a backup; it's how the family checks in, how the surgery gets through, and how a pendant alarm calls for help. Phonely was built for exactly those homes, which is why we work alongside police forces and won the AbilityNet Tech4Good Digital Inclusion Award this year.
CallGuard is included on Phonely with CallGuard at £14.98 a month (18-month plan, unlimited UK calls subject to our fair usage policy of 2,000 landline and 2,000 mobile minutes a month, free GA11 adapter worth £50; £16.98 a month from 1 April 2027).

Openreach is retiring the UK's copper telephone network in January 2027. Think of it like a much-loved family car that's reached the end of the road: it still works today, but the parts are running out, and a more reliable replacement is ready. Every home will move to a digital landline by then, whichever provider they're with.
If you stay with Fleur, they will move you when they're ready. If you move to Phonely now, you've already made the change, on your own timetable, with your own number, and there's nothing left to do in 2027.
Three steps, and we do most of them.
Digital Landline at £9.97 a month for 1,600 UK minutes, or Phonely with CallGuard at £14.98 for unlimited UK calls.
We arrange the transfer from Fleur. No forms, no engineer visit.
Your existing phone works as before. Your current line keeps working until the transfer completes, so you're never without a phone.

Leaving Fleur, keeping your number, adapters and the switch-off
No. Fleur became your provider on 1 September 2026 when TalkTalk transferred your account, but you're free to move your landline elsewhere. If your original TalkTalk minimum term has ended, there's no early termination charge.
If you're still within a minimum term, Fleur may charge one, so check your last TalkTalk contract date or ask Fleur on 0333 320 4020. If Fleur later raises prices or changes your terms in a way that isn't to your benefit, Ofcom rules give you a window to leave without penalty.
Keeping your number is included, and we arrange the transfer for you. There are no forms for you to fill in and no engineer visit. Your current line keeps working until the move completes, so you're never without a phone.
You don't need to change your broadband. Phonely works over any UK broadband connection, including Fleur's, so you keep it exactly as it is and move only the phone service. You do need a working internet connection at home, though. If you have no broadband at all, a digital landline isn't the right fit yet, and we'd rather tell you that than sell you something that won't work.
The UK's copper phone network is being switched off in January 2027, and every home will move to a digital landline by then. If you switch to Phonely now, that move is already done: your number has come with you and there's nothing further to do.
It depends on what you pay now, because transferred customers kept their TalkTalk pricing. Phonely Digital Landline is £9.97 a month with 1,600 UK minutes included — 800 to UK landlines and 800 to UK mobiles — on an 18-month plan, rising to £11.97 a month from 1 April 2027. Fleur sells calls as separate bundles from £3 a month on top of line rental. Pop your current line rental into the box above and we'll show you the difference.
Yes. Phonely is an employee-owned UK company with a UK-based support team. We work alongside City of London Police and Greater Manchester Police on scam prevention, and we won the AbilityNet Tech4Good Digital Inclusion Award in 2026. You can see our press coverage or read about the team.
No new phone. Your existing handset plugs into a small adapter, and the adapter plugs into your router. It's free on the CallGuard plan and on annual payment, so there's nothing to buy from Fleur, TalkTalk or anyone else. Almost any ordinary corded or cordless phone works; if you're not sure about yours, ring us on 0800 112 5000 and we'll check.
Like all digital landlines, Phonely needs power and broadband to work, so it won't work during a power cut unless you have a battery backup. If you or someone in your home relies on the landline for a pendant alarm or has no mobile phone, tell us when you sign up and we'll talk through the options. Our offline alerts also mean you and your trusted contact are told if the line goes down.
