Got a call from 07450 260064 saying I owe HRMC TAX and arrest warrant has been issued against me. The person said they will put my call through to the court on 02079476195. I was given 2 options, go to court or pay the money immediately. I asked what all these is about in the first place and was told they sent me a letter twice but I wasn’t at home to sign them and the letter bounced back to them. I said, it’s not the first time HRMC was sending me letter which I didn’t need to sign for. Started asking for my bank and account details, I then realised it was a scam at this point and put the number on google and saw that the number is attached to HRMC scammers. I told the person I needed to verify by calling HRMC myself as this might be a scam and was told I will be arrested and they will send a message to my bank to block my accounts. I haunt up. Then, the first caller called back on 07766995507, asking why I didn’t pay the money, I just hung up.
