Called up my mother’s house asking for me (I don’t live there usually but I’ve been staying due to illness in the family, so I wasn’t in the best mood to start with) and said I owed £360 for insurance on a TV at that address. When I pointed out that I don’t live here and it wasn’t my TV I was told “it doesn’t matter, you are liable, we have all your details and will take the money today, but if you confirm your details we will discount it by 60%”. I asked her to send me a copy of the agreement if one existed and she said it would come after the payment (that isn’t how this works). I refused to confirm my information and said if she had my details she would just have to bill it, and she got quite shirty. They aren’t very good at this, but I won’t try what might have happened if my elderly mother had picked up the phone…

Chirpy fast talking woman called to say that I owed for a call blocking system from two years ago. Knew my home address but not my email. She wasn’t very good at being scammer. Easily tripped up. I told her it was a scam and hung up.

Number called this afternoon, on landline.. claiming that I had home appliance insurance with them. I do have insurance, but not with this SCAM fake “company”. Number blocked. The thing is, I have a BT call blocking phone.. but somehow it got through.

Call today stating from sky home care about tv agreement payment due, it’s a scam but strange I was only talking to sky overseas call centre 30 mins before ???

We were told we had one payment left of a fictitious item. Said sorry, you're mistaken and hung up.

Two calls today, insisting that I signed an agreement, over the phone, in 2023. Said company name is Home Care Services, yet refused to say why Google did not show their company. When asked for their website address, they insisted that it was on the paperwork already sent in 2023, woudl not give it now. They're not very good at this. Never got to asking for any payment, as they got fed up with going around in circles. Just over 21 minutes of their time, no result for them. Win!

Had a second call stating i had tv insurance and payment was due. Wanted bank details. Didnt get them! Said it was Home Care Services.

Call insisting I had warranty on TV. And wanted payment for remaining years outstanding £360. My TV purchase was from Curry's and 5 year warranty paid in full. Caller said she was from Home Care Services.
