Could hear them chatting as I answered phone- told me they are from my housing company ( total lie) so I sighed and told them to get a life- yes they did have Indian accents.

London number, claimed to be from housing agency, said I had reported a problem to my "housing officer". I live hundreds of miles from London and own my own house. Told them where to go and blocked the number. It was clear that they would next be trying to get information from me.

an obvious attempt at a scam call, they told me they were ringing about the damp and cracks that I had reported so I just played along until they must have clocked I was just wasting their time and hung up on me, reported and blocked

Same as so many other comments on here, they claimed to be from a housing association. But couldn't answer basic questions like where they acquired my information or where I lived. Then very calmly said it was a wrong number.

As mentioned before, Indian scammers pretending to be from a Housing Association in regards maintenance issues that obviously I never reported. I let them speak until I said “do you even know who are you calling?” Which he said “No”, so I told him to delete my number and to f**k off, excuse my French

i'm fairly certain this is an AI call scam - way too many pauses inbetween questions / replies. Claiming to be local housing team. Asked if i had mould/damp/defects to the house to which i stated not a council house nor has it got them issues. They quickly hung up.
