On the desk computer when it was inundated with warning boxes stating the computer was compromised.Very authentic looking Microsoft Logos and jargon.Computer was locked and the only option was to ring 08085015307.Spoke with an indian woman who was very polite but too anxious to get me up and running if I agreed to identity protection ranging from £299 to £599.The cost was the red light so told her no thanks and looked for the number on line.Confirmed it as a scam.Switched off and switched back on again.No problems,McAfee protection showed no identity breaches.

An serious of boxes popped up that completely took over my computer screen purporting to be from Microsoft it was saying to phone Microsoft Support for help on 08085015307.
I immediately twigged it was one of these ridiculous bogus scams.

Looks like it came from microsoft defender asking to ring the number dont

Got this call after I clicked a link that looked like news, but it was some dodgy investment trap. BE CAREFUL.
