This number contacted us today 4 Jan 25 with a storey of homelessness. He had a Newcastle sounding accent. He asked if we could arrange payment for 1 night’s accommodation as he had lost his home and couldn’t get any support. He linked use to a friends name who had recently passed away. As I was suspicious of his storey so I Googled the number 07999800085 and found scam warnings. Don’t be taken in.

Phoned today saying he lived in East Yorkshire, about to be evicted, has an autistic son, if rent is not paid the son will be taken into care!

This number belongs to a Tyneside sounding male calling himself Jay B**d. He claims to be in desperate straits and will spin a convincing story about being evicted, about his autistic child being taken into care because he can't pay his utility bills.
