Was doubtful. I didn't recognize the number, nobody spoke so I put the phone down. If I do get nuisance calls and they start asking questions I usually tell them politely that it is none of their business.

Initially sounds genuine with an automated voice telling you that am advisor will be with you shortly... Even though they phoned me!
Then a really common voice said hello, no introduction or anything. I stayed silent knowing that a genuine caller would speak again. They put the phone down. They keep calling. This is the first time I answered. They're a right pain!

Insulation scam
Always the same Lady calls, we have repeatedly asked them to stop calling and remove our numbers from their database but no luck !
She calls every few weeks (see the below numbers)
I have asked for their company name and location she represents so I can research them, but she refuses saying she is an agent for them and refuses to give the company name etc.

I have had calls from this number and similar others several times on my landline. Didn't bother to pick up when I recognised the number.

Didn’t answer on land line phones number from my mobile as I can now block. The phone is answered with welcome to utilities - what utilities !? I hung up. I have had a raft of calls on landline over last two weeks and the last 3 numbers have a variation.
