Unsolicited phone call received from 02035045692 on 23/10/2025, at 17.09.
Automated voice call, consisting of pre-recorded English male voice making statements and asking questions, prompting me to answer during pauses. The male voice said he is representing WINDOWS AND DOORS LTD, saying they are in the area, offering discounts for replacement double glazed windows and doors where the existing units are more than 10 years old. This story was stated with pauses in the pre-recorded sales pitch messages, inviting my responses. I told them I’m not interested, never call me again, they shouldn’t be calling me like this at all because I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and they should remove my name & details from their database.
Had I gone along with where the caller was trying to lead me, I strongly suspect I’d end up with one of their salesmen in my property, giving me a high-pressure hard-sell for over-priced, unnecessary new double-glazed windows and doors.

Unsolicited call despite being on TPS, asked to speak to my daughter by name (she hasn't lived with us for 7y) Caller was female and had an accent thicker than a chicken madras! Told her she didn't live here and hung up.

Claimed to be from a green eco company asking about lost insulation. I asked if it was government or private and the caller got awkward and hung up.
