This was a highly aggressive voice call from a man with a London accent. At 11:17 on the morning of 04/01/2026, I had a call come in from number 0203 424 9348. As usual, I screened the call, not speaking until someone spoke. It was a live call with him asking, "Is anyone there?" And when I replied ''Yes,'' I was immediately asked if I was the house owner. I replied ''I'm screening for telemarketing calls.'', and then he immediately launched into a highly aggressive sales talk routine about energy and my billing, to which I replied, ''You're a telemarketeer. Don't call this number again,'' - but he just ignored me and kept on talking. I disconnected and blocked. Should be prosecuted.

Someone from this number has been ringing on and off for several years. She always introduces herself as 'the energy consultant in your area' and then asks 'am speaking too the homeowner?'. Today she called herself Jo, but to be honest it could be a different name each time. I always tell her we are on the Telephone Preference Service Register - the 'Do Not Call' Register and then she puts the phone down, but it doesn't make any difference. A few weeks/months later she is back again with the same script. I finally got round to 'blocking' her today. Usually I'm in the middle of something and am so irritated to be interrupted, I forget. Definitely a scam.

Received a marketing call about loft insulation from a woman using a generic name and claiming local responsibility. The lack of company identity and pressure tactics suggest this is not legitimate.
