Let silent call go on long time on purpose. Maybe wastes their resources. No clue who but suspicious.

Called back the number and heard a recorded female voice repeating an incomplete sentence on loop. It claimed to be some energy consultancy thing. Probably phishing attempt.

The landline rang but nobody spoke when I answered. I just hung up quickly. No response at all from the other end.

I answered the call to hear a recorded message saying I was the only person in the conference call and that I was being disconnected. I have never been on a conference call so I assume thus was some may of identifying a live phone line for future nuisance calls.

Obvious scam. Delayed response when answered by well spoken woman claiming to be “energy” rep for my area. I told her she was a scammer and ended the call. Clearly a bunch of crooks…!!
