claimed to be from EE, said I was due a half price payment for my next month, they sent a text to my phone with a PIN number I had to give him, which came through on the same EE thread. I asked to wait as I was busy and they hung up abruptly. Was quite suspicious and similar to other scams going around at the moment.

Scammer pretending to be my phone service provider which is Three, they said they are receiving a lot of complaints about loss of service and once i told them i havent had any problems with my signal they instantly hung up. obviously they are trying to get people who have had problems so they can direct them to some scammy website and steal your details. be careful.
