As I am aged 90 had great difficulties understanding what they want as speak too fast in a foreign accent do really can’t understand what they want to do. Might be a scam as the couldn’t tell me my date of birth👎

Beware, calcutta scam as seen on BBC scam interceptors. Only difference is they are targeting Vodafone customers and not O2

Spam call pretending to be Vodafone. Called out, just said “okay ma’am” and ended.

call received from 01865 538496 advising that Vodafone and Lebara are merging and my sim will be blocked in 2 days so they needed my information to process new application.
I asked them to confirm my details held as i wasnt prepared to give out any information as they will have it all on record. The man proceeded to say my Sim will be blocked and I continued with the patter than I wont be giving over information and he hung up

Same as above, told me my SIM card will deactivate and they are sending a new card in the post to my address. Had two people tell me the same thing man and woman, I ended the call when the woman said she would ring me back.

Called me to say my Vodafone SIM card will be deactivated in 2 days and they are sending me out a new one as Vodafone is merging with another company and all Vodafone SIM cards will no longer work!!! How stupid do they think I am? I told them to FO.
