Keep calling pretending to be from British gas, saying there is an issue with our meter. They keep calling from different telephone numbers, but with the same reason to call. refused to speak to them in the end and just put the phone down on them.,

Claims to be British Gas informing us we have a problem with our invoices and then meter. Told him I would call him back and hung up, he called straight back, apparently I can't call back. Will see if he calls again.

Scammers from india i never trust anyone whos voice is indian and give the name as a english name specially if they calling for energy :)

Asian guy calls every week from different numbers saying he is from Scottish Power, saying there are issues with upcoming invoices (he can predict the future apparently) so he needs to sort these out. I said we've called Scottish Power and they assured us everything is fine, and he says 'you spoke to accounts department madam, not meter readings' I said they assured everything is fine. I then asked for his number to call him back and he said 'you cannot call us back madam', to what I replied, strange because when I call Scottish Power I can speak to any department. He didn't like that. He is pushy and rude. Will continue to report.

SAYS THEY ARE FROM BRITISH GAS AND TOLD ME THAT OUR METER IS NOT GIVING CORRECT READINGS AND I NEEDED TO CONFIRM THE METER NUMBER AND SERIAL NUMBERS - TOLD ME I HAD TO DO IT STRAIGHT AWAY - I HUNG UP AND CHECKED THE NUMBER TO FIND THEY ARE SCAMMERS.
