Telephone call from 01748836934 on Wednesday 29 August, 2024. Caller sounded very sleazy with foreign accent and claimed to be from Amazon. Caller claimed a transaction had taken place on Amazon account. Immediately recognised this call to be fraud since personal Amazon account does not exist. Prefer to shop elsewhere. Caller then asked that we check e-mail for message from Amazon. Of course there is no e-mail from Amazon since account does not exist. Also when asked, caller did not know what e-mail address we use. So just to waist time, we offered to start computer in order to check all e-mail addresses. Caller then mumbled something and terminated call. Obviously a failed attempt to get access to personal computer and accounts. Suggest block number.
