My mother received a call from this number. As other comments, saying £833 at Currys. She is 90 but Ive trained her well. She tells these callers that her daughter deals with all finance and the caller hung up! Definite scam.

Claiming to be a message from Barclays Bank that I have spent £833 at Currys, not true as I do not bank with Barclays. Two texts came from two different standard UK mobile phone numbers.

Received a text supposedly from Barclays Bank that my card had been used at Currys for £833.00. Not possible. I don't use that a/c for general spending and I don't have an a/c with that much overdraft! Not clicking anything - pity that Barclays are not available though. Banks used to have Fraud Depts on hand.

I received a text message from Barclays Bank, where they said that it seemed like my cards were linked to Google Pay, and if this is not my account, then I should call this phone with some number. It is clear that this is a scam, and I immediately blocked all the numbers and deleted them without reading.
