A fishing spam call about a Domestic&General washing machine insurance policy I supposedly have. Caller asked for bank sort code. Usual scam tactics: "Is that the lady of the house" - they should know my name if I'm an existing customer; almost everyone has a "washing machine" so that's an easy fish.

Rung yesterday at 8am. Hung up as I answered. Rung again today. Said his name was 'Jacob' and was calling from a survey company. Told him to eff off. After a brief silence he hung up.

Woman with odd tone knew my name and spot i live clear phony how these folks from all over snag our details anyway i got it blocked now along with a bunch more like it.
