A chap from this company called James rang today. Was rude and kept talking over me throughout the time and wouldn't let me speak. Normally, I put the phone down, but decided to tackle him instead. I have had this company ring me a few times in the past and have sensed that they are not genuine. I am not interested in what they are trying to sell me in anycase.

Pretends to be a local energy advisor but asks odd questions about the home. Multiple similar calls from Bolton area numbers. All feel scammy.

Bot call from this number today, about solar panels. I realised that the voice was automated, so was careful not to reply "yes" or "no" when it asked "you are the homeowner is that correct?". I asked "are you AI?" The recorded response said "No I am not a robot, I'm just using a computer to help me contact you". I then asked "Are you selling anything?" The response was "I'm calling you about solar panels that go on the roof of your property". I asked again, "Are you selling anything?" The response was "yes". I then said "I am registered with the Telephone Preference Service...." and the bot immediately (politely!) apologised, wished me a good day and hung up! I've put "harassing", rather than "dangerous", as it interrupted my day, but I didn't let it get far enough to be dangerous.
