Rang 3 times in a short space of time this pm. I do not answer calls on this landlines and it quickly turns to a recorded message requesting that they leave a message on my answerphone. They immediately hung up before leaving any message!

Received call at 12.00 12/08/25. Well spoken English voice asking me to verify a payment to Amazon of £99 or £999. Also Stating I have never made payments to Amazon. I use Amazon a lot. I put the phone down. Regarded as a scam.

A woman with an Indian accent called and said, she would call from Amazon in regards of a problem with a recent Amazon delivery and that I need to comfirm some details, like my name. I asked if she knows who she is calling and she answered, she has the name and details in front of her, but she didn't wanted to tell me the name. So, I told her she's a scam and cancelled the call.

Said they were eOn, seemed like they were eOn as they had genuine information. Same as others say that the meter is end of life which is also recorded on the account, but they have had a full an honest update from me as to why they can't change the meter at this property at this point in time. I have asked them numerous times to record that information on the account and to stop calling me about it almost weekly and yet again another call today. Today's person was rude and even when I was telling him the upsetting reason that I can't deal with the situation at the moment and he would have clearly heard that I was distressed he continued to harass me and was actually laughing at me. I pointed out that he was rude and that I could hear he was laughing at me he even agreed that he was and continued to do so. Eventually I had enough and he clearly wasn't going to stop harassing me so I put the phone down and collected this number. Called eOn who can't tell me if it is genuine or not.
