Can anyone help me get a 20" long rubber tentacle out myself? bit off more than I could chew apparently, dont really want to visit the hopsital and also my wife is home in a few hours and il likely struggle to explain this.

APPARENTLY, the government changed laws which meant harassing calls no longer had to be seen as 'dangerous' to be illegal - not that stealing money from scamming infirm people should be legal anyway. ...Nothing has changed - probably because some government institutions actually sold your number to the scammers in the first place! got a call from 020 7183 4216. very poor line and strong accent made it almost impossible to understand. mentioned something about money and bank and making sure I get my money back. I put the phone down. 17/9/19 1900. - caller: unknown

The message above, 'these sites are run by the scammers themselves' seems to have been posted en masse on 24th June last year, with the same wording every time. Does that suggest a scammer, trying to cast doubt on the sites' motive? And as for 'honing their techniques', I don't see much sign of that.

I answered and it was a recorded message "dear customer, we have tried several times to contact you about reducing your life insurance premium" they don't say the name of the company, obviously I am not really their customer! Number now blocked. - caller: Robot
