Claimed to be Microsoft saying anti virus is out of date offering to resolve. Fortunately my elderly father was wise enough to put phone down and given this was on an iPad they wouldn’t get very far.

I have just rung 08085310895 because suddenly I had a loud intermittent noise and was advised that I'd been scammed and ring Microsoft support on 08085310895 and was then advised to press some keys and was told I would receive a code to be inputted. Since then the noise has carried on. I don't know what to do?

Wanted to install anti virus software on our laptop. When I questioned it saying we have been scammed before, they hung up. Beware

Blocks computer use and claims to be microscoft to redeem operation. Probably would try and control your computer.
