I accidentalyy opened a message I didnt recognise (meant to delete) and got a shock. A loud alarm sounded and lots of messages appeared suposing from microsoft. Was adamant I should not turn of my computer and phone 08085310209. I think there was also a pin number change request .Although the noise stressed me and was really loud, I suspected it was a scam and switched off my computer and started again. It was perfectly fine. Did usual virus scans and all seem to be ok for the time being. I was very close to phone that number due to the fright. Be careful everyone.

Microsoft scammers. If you had that alert ignore it and don't call that number or any other one. Install adblocker extension/addon on your browser.

It took over my computer and wanted me to give it authority to "fix the problem" and under no circumstances should I turn it off or try to fix it myself, as I could lose data. I did switch it off for 15minutes then restarted it and ALL WAS OK.

MY laptop alarm went off and 2/3/4 different messages appeared saying not to turn off but phone 08085310209 microsoft. Did not get through at first then very ignorant man came on gave spiel about computer and wanted £150 to sort it. PUT phone down.
