Scam call.
A man with a clearly noticeable Indian accent introduced himself as a SKY UK employee. He claimed I had an outstanding balance on my last bill and that my package price had increased this month. He immediately asked me to confirm the exact amount shown on my most recent bill — a classic phishing attempt.
The caller was firmly dismissed. The number has been blocked and reported as suspected fraud. The number is still “clean” online for now, but I’m marking it here as dangerous to warn others.
Writing this detailed comment for people who may not yet recognise common phone‑scam tactics. Stay alert and never share billing details, bank information, or any personal data with unsolicited callers.
