Sent a text message to my phone number. Today [04 November 2025 at 16:14]
'NATIONWIDE - We have noticed your recent activity. CLEARPAY £397.45 Verification code 678193, attempted at 16:14 on 04/11/25 from your account. If this was not you REPLY "N" and a member of staff will contact you shortly.'
I called up my bank and according to my bank no such activity was recorded and no such number was also from the bank. It is a scam. I reported the number to clearpay. According to clearpay I do not have an account open so therefore who is sending this scam texts... ?
