Had this a few months ago. They ask to confirm who you are ( gathering more info about you with every question you answer) Give them a different name , they will say no it’s not you ( as they know little about you ) I never give out details , they say they are not allowed to give out info. I say , as others, then I do not give out any info . She was persistent And had found out other details it appears . So I said e- mail me. Can you confirm where you are phoning from . As to what my tracer says. , Confused she have in . Odd I replied not to what my trace call says . So you also are lying or you have a London exchange . Confused she hung up.

Had a lady , ( obviously somehow knew certain details , wanted me to confirm my name and address , I replied you tell me you phoned me, she said we cannot give out personal details. I replied so you know nothing until I tell you then . Where are you phoning from, again she replied we do not give out our details . Absolute Nonsense . NEVER confirm any details to them they gather more info to use later and sound more convincing to you .

had a call from them today about upgrading my broadband with sky to full fibre , knew everything about my account and booked me an engineer in. Shows on my sky account that fibre broadband is pending- unsure how they would do that if they were a scam ?

This number 03334 439 830 has tried repeatedly to get through to me on landline but I never pick up. Today they waited so long that the answer machine kicked in. The BACKGROUND noise and voices from the call centre was from abroad and very noisy. They quickly hung up when the message started. I have now blocked them.

Asked for me by name and tried to offer me a broadband deal. He said Sky were upgrading in my area. Said he wanted to check I was the right person to speak to and asked me to state my name. I said I don't give out personal details over the phone. He kept trying. I told him to send me an email. He said his job was only phone calls. I told him to get a colleague to email me. He gave up.
