I answered as I was expecting a call regarding a repair to my property. They said they were aware of my issue and would get it done quicker. When I asked how they knew I had a problem he became very nasty saying that they had been called to help me and I should accept their help. I hung up. That was thirty minutes ago and they've called back three times already. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, DO NOT ANSWER. SCAMMERS

Called, had a set phrase and repeated the same question. Probably recorded and set up to use specific recordings as it didn't have any clear answer

Took a while to connect, which usually an indication of a scam call. A guy introduced himself as Kevin from Housing Repairs Team, then proceeded to tell me he was calling me about a housing issue I supposedly reported. When questioned as to what issue it was he didn’t have an answer, but instead asked me if I had damp or mold or anything of that sort. To which I said no and stated that I haven’t reported any issues. He instantly hung up.

Phoned me claiming to be from the council housing repair department. Asks if I had any issues that needed attending to. I asked him straight-up if he's from the council and he was apprehensive and didn't really answer. So we went on for a bit and he asked again if I had any cracks that need repairing. I told him that I had a massive crack and he should come look at it immediately. He put the phone down. I'm not even a council tenant which makes this funnier. Clearly a scam number.
