I had two calls from them, never answered as it shows that the call was from Belfast, Northern Ireland, but I don’t know anybody there

I am in the UAE. The call was from someone pretending to be United Arab Emirates CID/police checking on status of residence in Dubai, like they would be calling from a UK number!! Said I would be in "big trouble" if in the UAE illegally. Hung up on him and blocked. Wish now I had waited a bit longer to see what the scam was going to be. Very unconvincing.

Russian/Albanian accent pretending to be United Arab Emirates CID/police checking on status of residence in Dubai, I asked why he was boring me and if his mother knew he was spending his life as such a disappointment to his family and he hung up, how rude!

I received a call from this number promising me a refund for a service problem. Asked for my card details. No legit company would do that over the phone! Blocked the number immediately.

Indian call centre guy claiming to be looking to buy from us and giving a local address and phone number which is another closed furniture company. (Next on his list probably?) Still not sure of how he plans to con us but he hung up when challanged.

Called twice, female voice, saying “don’t you know who this is”, I replied no and asked her to identify herself, eventually I hung up. I then received 25 calls number withheld. ‭ This is the number that called me 028 9581 0626‬, now blocked.

They called claiming they were from my bank and needed to verify my account details due to unusual activity. Thankfully, I hung up and called my bank directly to confirm it was a scam.

I got a phone call this morning from this number and I didn’t answer it so i checked it out to see who was calling me and it said that it was from Microsoft. This number is a scam from Microsoft.

Rang Saturday at 12.30pm and rang off immediately it was answered, so wary of all calls now that I never ring back , just take a note of number and look up. Hope it's not the start of more calls, such a nuisance and time wasting.

Got a call from this number, saying they were from HMRC. They said there was an issue with my tax return, but I knew it was fake because HMRC would never call like that. Total scam!

I actually rang a number on the 08000485419 as I thought I was ringing Yahoo help because I thought ironically I’d been hacked and this number 02895810626 rang me back to say I had been hacked and asked me to let them have remote control of my computer Luckily, even in my panic I remembered the programs on tv about how hackers access your information and refused they said not to worry we will fix this end I’d given my PayPal account name and my date of birth by then.

Got a call from a strongly accented Indian (sounded like a call centre) girl where the energy bill for this property did not match up with the meter reading that had been sent in, not that we had sent in a meter reading nor that they disclosed who they were, but they wanted the accounts payable department and they hung up when I said that I could not lay my hands on the energy bill and the number was listed as Belfast (44) 02895810626 Sounds like a right bunch of crooks

Fraudsters posing as SKy. Called us about broadband issue (which I had previously emailed SKy about), even did some security questions. Eventually they explained we'd be issued a refund and took my account number - not the cardnumber. Next thing, I had several transactions of over £10k missing in a matter of moments. These people need to be found and killed. - caller: ?

Call from a market research company related to investments in stocks, shares and forex. Politely finished the conversation saying I was not interested to avoid further calls from third party investment company. Fraudulent activities are more around this time of the year and is difficult to know which one is genuine especially when the caller is reluctant to provide company details and other credentials and only interested in capturing the details of a lead and passing it on.

Called claiming to be Amex saying that I to pay £29000 for New York stock exchange commission to release a $301000 payment. I told them to email me but as yet I haven’t heard anything from them. I believe my details have been passed on to them. DO NOT TRUST THEM. A TOTAL SCAM CALL

This number called me, stating I needed a music licence to play any form of music in my workshop, I am self-employed and work on my own!!! A lady called and said the company name VERY fast, I asked her to repeat it, still didn’t catch it apart from a load in of letters starting with a P.

This number is calling and has been calling my mum. 2 or 3 times at night. Anytime from 1am till 6 am. Its been going on for months and is beyond a joke. The police wont do anything about it. - caller: 02895810626
