Had a call from the local energy adviser in my post code area. He was spamming a Portsmouth dialing code. I told him he wasn't in my area and there was a silence followed by exactly the same statement. I repeated he wasn't in my area and line went dead.

Rings off just as you go to answer after a few rings. Probably a dangerous spam caller or Starmer's woke Internet police.

Fake “Energy Advice Centre”. They spoof numbers across multiple area codes and keep changing digits, calling several times a day.

rang once yesterday, twice today 20 August. Bell rings three times in each call. Also same pattern, a bit more or less but usually 3 rings of bell, in at least 2 different incalling numbers earlier mid-summer, connected with some sort of eco spam or scam apparently. VERY annoying and reduces confidence in bona fide normal calls - obviously.
