I was involved in a road traffic accident that wasn't my fault. I spike to an advisor and told them I was indeed involved in a RTC but it was my fault as I was drunk and 7 people died and I am currently speaking to them in a cell on a phone I smuggled in up my bottom

I am an 85 year old pensioner and have an easy way to deal with all scam calls. I just keep repeating "Hello" "Hello" "Hello" .... They get quite confused and reply: "Can you hear me? Hello?" I just keep at it "Hello, Hello, Hello"... Amuses me, and frustrates them because in the end they scratch their heads and hang up! Works every time and maybe they'll take my number off their list!

They phoned about an accident that wasn't my fault. Obviously a scam: the accident was ENTIRELY my fault. I was doing 65 mph when I lost control on the M1 whilst trying to do a fiddly key change on my trombone.

Claims to be from Carphone Warehouse, but as I've requested any and all data they may have on me to be removed from their database under GDPR and am signed up with the TPS I doubt the real Carphone Warehouse would actually be trying to call me to sell me a phone

ALL calls beginning 0207946 are bogus. This appears to be a London area code, but is in fact a fictitious code for use in fils, literature etc. Look it up on Wikipedia! I've simply blocked ALL calls starting with 0207946 on all our mobile phones - ever so easy to do, took 1 minute! - caller: Unknown

Told me i had a claim open for an accident i had within the last 3 years. Told em i dont drive. Then changed it to an accident at work, as a passenger, from the time i was sick whilst on holiday abroad. Left my phone on the table, w minutes later they disconnected the call - caller: accident claims

Message answer machine did not catch all the woman said but it was something about a transaction on one of my cards unlike any others I had made in the past 2 years then the usual if I did not recognise the transaction ring them

When I get these calls , if I have time, I wind them up and keep them on the line. If you want to get rid of them quickly just say "I'm Detective Inspector (I usually say "Corner of the Yard") and "How do you know the deceased"?). One of my favourites pretending to be a Chinese restaurant or The Australian embassy.

Called about me being in an accident that wasn't my fault - all i could think was: "are you asking or telling me?" But what I did was stay silent until she hung up. I had planned the next spam call to be the one where I called them "sydney" and threatened to gut them like a fish (Scream movie style) - too extreme, perhaps? But sick and tired of these calls, especially when i'm at work. - caller: unknown

Just received a call from the number above. I don't have answer phone so luckily didn't get a message. I rang the number back and it told me the number was incorrect although I just pressed redial. Hope I haven't been charged Just read the messages and gathered it is a stupid caller so I've blocked the number on my phone. This company keeps calling me today. Robotic voice, it's a bot designed to respond to certain commands. Annoying. It's also a 'fake number' so no point reporting to TPS as they use new numbers daily.

Blocked for good! Surely if I wanted to claim on an accident I would actively do it myself rather than sit around and wait for a mysterious caller to offer me the chance? Next time I get one, im gonna pretend im an accident claims helpline.
