This company called me a few weeks ago offering me something called IVA (? Voluntary assistance). Allegedly this is some kind of government scheme that enables me to pay no more than £120 a month off of my debts and they will be cleared far quicker and with zero interest. They also claimed that my creditors would be committing an unlawful act should they try to contact me. To begin with the calls sound feasible although I would not have proceeded until I had thoroughly taken a damned good luck inside this gift horses mouth. I received calls from two of their telephone numbers while already engaged on a call with one of their agents. They also left me on hold for 35 minutes with some really terrible piano music. Eventually, I shut it off. They then called me back about 20 minutes laterclaiming that they had been trying to call me, indeed they had, but they couldn’t get through because I was already on hold. I suspect they are operating from the Indian subcontinent.

Called about a loan was pushing for details. I have never asked for a loan nor gave permission for my details to be passed around. This is a total phishing exercise and simply seeking personal information. DONT FALL FOR IT
