Did a google search to manage my booking and do seat selection and received a call to say there was computer glitch and my seat selection could be done over the phone. Mean time I had got into the BA website and said it was ok as I could do it online. Person wouldn't end the call and said the seat wouldn't be guaranteed unless I paid. I said I knew that wasn't true as my BA membership guaranteed the seat. He kept trying and I ended the call. I then went on to select the seats and received the usual confirmation from BA - close call

Scam.trying to get me to book seats on my Quatar airlines flight.blocked the number after reading comments but still kept on calling.

I had been on the phone to BA about seating arrangements for my holiday.They had changed the aircraft so the row of seats our seats were in disappeared. No alternative seats available. No sooner had l put my phone down than another man called saying he could help me with my preferred seats. £95 each . Sounded so convincing as he knew information l had just been discussing with Customer care at BA. Almost gave him my info, but became suspicious and said l would call him back .this number is 02039832844. I backed off and ended the call. This man had the cheek to call me again after 5 mins or so to discuss my payments. A close call indeed. How could he know this info about my booking?
