Home appliance cover scam. Offer "a great saving on last year's cover" (I don't have cover). Obviously want my credit card details

used a name of former house owner who left 25 years ago but knew our address. Trying to sell appliance insurance. Did my usual trick of just letting them ramble on while I made a cup of tea . They usually hang up after a minute or so.

Knew my personal details but I became suspicious when she said I was entitled to a discount on my cooker, washing machine and fridge freezer insurance. When I explained I didn’t have a fridge freezer she said they would throw in cover for free. Then asked expiry date on bank card. I refused to give it and was told I wasn’t being asked for anything confidential. I hung up
