Dodgy bloke asking questions about loft insulation scheme. Cut phone off when I told him not interested.

The caller spoke very quickly with what sounded like a strong accent. I immediately interrupted asking them to speak more slowly. All went quiet though i repeatedly said ‘hello’. But i could hear there was still someone on the line. After a few minutes the call ended. I did not suspect a hoax call as i was expecting adelivery at that time and thought it was courier outside front door trying to tell me something..

Spam call multiple calls. I gave this last call a blast of my trusted Acme Metropolitan Whistle, works every time. I very much doubt they will be calling back in the near future.

Line was just dead when answered. Not sure where they got my landline number from as there is only a handful of people I’ve given it to. So if it was not then calling then this number must be dodgy.

Did not answer my questions. Pushy . Said someone would phone in the next 30 minutes. Said my loft insulation was on database as irritant to lungs.

Device showed wrong origin code for the area didnt pick up screams fraud could lead to trouble.

Screen showed mismatched spot for the code local dial is different so skipped it total fraud risk.

As I did not speak at all but waited 20 seconds before hanging up, I can't strictly say this caller is dangerous. But it does smack of cold calling and nuisance behaviour and therefore untrustworthy in my view. I suspect if I had spoken that it would not have been anything useful to me. I despise this kind of call.

Another annoying 'silent' call. Obviously some automated calling centre, might be spam or something more sinister. No way of knowing when there is nothing but silence.
