Claimed to be from an energy savings department, tried to get personal info, obviously a scam.

They called me just now and said I had car accident and I had claimed money, asked what happened to me , wanted to continue asking about things I just cut the call, checked this number here there are already complains about this number regarding numerous reasons, so I blocked it. Its scam and dangerous because multiple people received calls from this number for different reasons, how come? It's dangerous.

I don't know if this is a scammer or a plain nuisance call. But when I asked where he was dfrom he said 'Insulation Advisory Line'. When challenged that I didn't know them (web search came up empty, he then said he was from the 'Green Eco Centre' - also no positive hits. When I then asked for more detail, he backed out quickly and hung up. I don't know if this is a dangerous scam, but I did not want to find out the hard way. I am, however, very suspicious.
