Had call @ 11-55 am 9/9/24 from this number. Suspicious transaction on my card, one £700 and one £2000 money transfer. Just hung up.
Call at 9.40 this morning. Claimed to be an automated call from my Bank(unspecified) stating that there were suspicious overseas transactions (£300 and £1100) pending on my account and I should press 1 to reject them. SCAM. DON'T RESPOND
SCAM!! Claimed to be from Amazon - Asian accents - classic suspicious activity on your account - managed to keep him on the phone for 32 minutes before I told him he was a scamming 'bleep' and he cut me off. Love wasting scammers time!!
Be aware telling you about 2 transactions on your cards to Amazon and then requesting you agree to them or speak to a member of their team!!!
Pretending to be from BT - far eastern woman by the sound of her heavy accent. When asked if she was reading from a screen she hung up.
