Called me came up as Scottish power. Said to book an appt for smart meter and I said I don't want and to stop calling. He said that's fine I just need your address, date of birth and email. I didn't give him the info as I suspected scam and said I'm not happy to continue call. He would of had them details already if he was legit. Just chancers

A call asking for address plus date of birth. Scottish power never ask for a date of birth. I refused to give . You should ask them what address they are looking for to install the meter. They don't know your address. It's a scam. Very dangerous
