Said that a solicitor would call me to tell me how much compensation I'd be getting on a PCP claim. I've never made a PCP claim.

Automated coldcall received at 14.11 on 14/10/2025. Pre-recorded series of statements by a female with a northern English accent (Yorkshire/Lancashire) identified herself as “Gabby, your local energy adviser”. After asking a series of questions about my property type, my loft insulation, and my postcode, her pitch was to get me to agree to one of their (whomever ‘they’ might be) telesales staff to call me again, to arrange for one of their ‘experts’ to visit, to give me a “free, no obligation survey”. This would inevitably actually be a hard-sell in my home, by one of their unscrupulous salesmen, to get me to agree to having massively overpriced foam insulation sprayed into my loft (which would reduce my property value, and/or make it unmortgageable, and therefore virtually unsellable). I’m also aware of a ‘flipped’ variation of this scam, where the companies who do the spray foam loft insulation scam are the same crooks who massively overcharge to then REMOVE such insulation. — SCAM.
