Number showed on my answer machine without a message, likely loft insulation scammers.

They said my loft insulation was on their system. The woman spoke politely but the whole thing sounded scripted and it didn’t take long before it clearly felt like another insulation scam attempt.

Apparently, my loft insulation is on their database! A polite and well-spoken woman on the other end. I listened to her guff for about 10 seconds and then said "toodle-oo" and ended the call. Number blocked! No idea if this was an attempted scam, but I imagine it was. I regard all cold-callers as deeply suspect.
