Indian man phoned claiming to be from E-on energy wanting to set up my next contract. Eventually they admitted they were a broker. Very miss-leading and fraudulent.

Call several times today, pretending to be from British Gas. I asked her to provide our account number (she couldn't). Hung up.

Called when I was cleaning windows. Answered phone - just background noise. Obviously a scam I just screamed as loudly as possible down the phone, hung up and blocked number.

Lady said she was with BT and asked to speak to someone who used to own this phone number around 13 years ago ( debt collectors have tried to contact this person)

Rang 10 minutes ago claiming to be from e-on then asked us for our phone number, e-on will never ring you directly, they only contact you by email if you happen to have an account with them, this number is a total SCAM.

He said he was from British Gas, and I had outstanding balance issues, and he wanted to put me through to his supervisor to resolve it. He had the meter number, address, and my name. But not the account number, so I told him not to call me again.
