spam call

Caller address me by my first name. It was clear it was a scam as he was telling me they were Tenancy Assurance Agency for housing association and council housing and my details had been provided by “the council”. I don’t live in council or housing association housing. I asked what Local Authority and he said “the council”. When challenged on how he knew my name and what the name of the company was he said that the council passes it on and their must have been a mistake. He wouldn’t tell me who he worked for other than “tenancy assurance agency” which is not the name of a company. There are clearly trying to scam people for work
