Claimed to be from Vodafone. I do not have a vodafone contract.

Fonehouse, Vodafone partner. Called their number on the website who confirmed this is their contact centre.

They told me "we are authorised partners of Vodafone and your contract was up for renewal". I didn't think it was so put the phone down and phoned Vodafone. They confirmed nothing to do with them and my contract is not ready for renewal. They made a note of the number and reporting.

This is a company called Fonehouse, who claim to be working on behalf of Vodafone, dealing with upgrades. I've checked with Vodafone who confirmed my suspicions that this is fraudulent. I told them repeatedly that I would call Voda if and when I wanted to upgrade, but they continued to claim that they are part of Voda. Quite relentless. Rudeness on my part seemed to do the trick.

Tried to tell me my Vodafone contract was up for renewal. (I upgraded in the Vodafone store 7 months ago) Got very abusive when I told them it wasn’t, shouting at me it is you need to upgrade. Shouted back told them wherever they got their information from was wrong and I didn’t appreciated being harassed on the phone and told I was lying when I know for a done fact my contract does not need renewing. He sharp hung up quick

They just called me to say my contract was up and i needed to renew, I had to ask which number the caller was referring to as I 3 phones, Anyway she quickly decided to end the call when i started asking questions as i don't have a phone contract with anyone and certainly never had a contract with Fonehouse, so its defo dodgy scammers calling.

Apparently it's Fonehouse is Pontypool, but the number is owned by a company in S.Africa? So, the chances are it's a scam. No matter, they left no message, so they get blocked anyway.
