Just had a call from sky assured maintenance regarding my sky insurance. Caller ( Roy) claimed I had signed Two year contract which needs re authorisation as it’s a year to the day I ( supposed) took it out . “Roy” couldn’t answer any questions about the card id used , the bank I’m with and hung up when told I don’t have sky

Cold cal. Introduced himself as Roy from Sky Maintenance and claimed that insurance I had taken out last year was due for renewal today. I asked him numerous times whether current payments come from my Barclays account ( I have no such account). He said yes and asked for agreement that such payments could continue. I wished him luck trying. He then got aggressive claiming that he had all my details and that I need to be very careful. He then swore at me and hung up fo the sound of my laughter.

Cold called and left no message on my answerphone, so looked up here to see others experience of this number. I’m TPS registered, and still get this type of call.

Obvious scam from Sky maintenance. Knew it was a scam as I don’t have Sky. Kept him online for as long as possible before telling him what I thought of him.
