Hit my seldom used home phone so right away i knew it was junk and blocked without thinkin twice.

Caller said she was calling from my energy supplier didn't say the name of my supplier and startedto ask about my Loft Insulation . I suspected this was a phishing scam to get my details etc. I told her it was sorted and hung up .

They try a no caller Id call, then from one of these numbers claiming to be a "local energy advisor"

Lady said she was "Jo from your energy company ". My partner passed the phone to me by which time "Jo" had rung off. Probably selling dodgy loft insulation.

Unsolicited and obvious nuisance sales call - even though we are registered with TPS !!! - suggest best action simply put the phone down and cut them off
