Called my landline and addressed me by name. Male caller with heavy background noise like a call centre. Began talking about appliance insurance cover that I do not recall arranging. Highly suspicious and likely fraudulent.

Refused to properly identify themselves and even got my surname wrong. As soon as I questioned who they were, they ended the call abruptly. Very suspicious behaviour.
