Pause on answering, then female said that according to their records, my loft still had the old type of insulation. Went on to ask whether my insulation was of the 'fluffy kind', whatever that means (I remember a call using this term a few months ago). Was uncertain as to the reliability of the call, so said I did not wish to pursue and terminated the conversation. Area code for Hinckley which is a considerable distance from my home.

Call came in on landline which nowadays rarely receives a legitimate call. I did not answer and no message left and assume other contributors are entirely correct in their judgement. Sadly my old phone cannot block but I've kept it going now for too long, so will not be renewing landline next broadband renewal.

Lady said local energy contact noted no call status then dropped. Line off books for decades so no way legit. This setup feels way off and pushes you to wonder how they even get these numbers in the first place especially with all the privacy rules out there now.
