Had my wife’s car reg number. Phoned on my phone. Said we had not yet claimed on car finance. Car was naught new without finance. Either Mercedes, Warenty wise or compare the market have sold on my number linked to my wife’s car

Claiming to be diesel claim, no idea how they got the name and number and car reg. Accent sounded like scammmer from India.

Life insurance scammer with poor command of english

Sounded like coming from a call centre (background noise), female, foreign accent, maybe Pakistani/Indian? Knew my name, address and car registration. Said calling from something like 'PCB Cleansing'. When I questioned this she hung up. Could have been a call coming from outside UK but routed through Glasgow.

Answered call then silence before call dropped. Probably an automated caller.

Answered phone, slight delay before a foreign accent female spoke. Asked to speak to my father. When asked who was calling proceeded to say they were calling about insurance for the washing machine. Interrupted her, in mid flow, to tell her my father was dead. ( he died 13 years ago’). Speechless pause before saying sorry and hung up.
