Got 5 missed calls in Tenerife from this number this is harassment, lv already told them l don't want a smart meter, also l was on holiday,

called me a few minutes ago, when i answered i got no reply. I said hello three times and was on the line for 10 seconds with no reply, so i just hung up. looking at these comments, it was likely Scottish Power. i’m a customer with them and they’ve been calling me since i switched to them about a smart meter. my building doesn’t have the proper connections to facilitate one, an engineer from scottish power even confirmed that in person, but they’re still phoning. the last call i got i told them to stop calling me about it, and now they’re calling and not speaking?? incredibly bizarre

Scottish woman phoned saying i need to upgrade meter to smart meter, i accepted as annoying having to go to the shops to top up, she went through security checks, confirmed address and DOB, got a provisional date booked in but then her final question was if my meter was over 6 foot high (which it is) with then she then said they wouldn't be able to that date as this takes more time etc so i will be on the waiting list. I checked with my leasing agency and they said it would have been a genuine call as this is the questions they ask. Guess we will wait and see.

This caller phoned me none stop. He said he was from Scottish power and I had to make an appointment to have my meters changed. Like for like. He was very persistent and wouldn't take no for an answer. He sounded genuine.

This no calls daily with Asian or Scottish voices re smart meters and refuse to accept that it is not a legal obligation to fit one . This scam must be investigated!

2-3 times per day . Similar number called me numerous times back in May , i dont want a smart metre Scottish Power , leave me alone !

This number call me two to three a day,01413109863 ,I answer one time they just say l must book appointment for my smart meter and is Scottish power so I say I don't want any smart meter so l hang up and they continue calling every day l am fed up of them calling me partly everyday

The man who called from this number had such a pronounced African accent that I could scarcely understand him. I did not catch the name of the company he claimed to represent, or understand the name by which he addressed me. When I said that was not my name, he asked me to give him my actual name and said he was being trained and the call was being recorded. All very weird and I had no intention of giving my details to a strange cold caller so ended the call.
