Female London sounding voice says she's calling from an energy company and you're the homeowner, right? then says when was your home insulation put in, etc. When asked where are you calling from 'she' gives some garble about we operate across the UK etc, giving away that not a live interaction. When I say you're an AI Chatbot and a complete scam, the line goes dead. Clearly a scam and TPS seems to have failed on this count. I hadn't received scam/marketing calls for a good few months until this one.

Received this call at 09.30 on 4 Dec 25. Asked me if I was the homeowner & said their records showed I had some kind of loft insulation. I live in a ground-floor flat! As soon as I said "Hold on there..." they cut the call. Caller was a female with a London accent. There were odd pauses on the line. This is certainly a scam call and my hunch is that this could be an AI-enabled system that provides pre-recorded responses according to what you say. The clever part is the use of a reassuringly local-accented voice, either copied and pasted from a genuine person or AI-generated. The call itself is automated rather than a genuine human being, because it doesn't respond at the correct speed for a live person.
