Received a call, from a man with an Indian accent, saying I had a contract with Sky Assurance maintenance and it was due for renewal. They were offering a discounted package. I have no such contract! I said I didn't want to renew. I was then told it would affect my credit rating and that I would be charged £65 for breach of contract. Absolute rubbish! I hung up.

Answered but said nothing, waiting for them to speak. After 20 seconds or so the call hung up

Caller said he was phoning from SKY (foreign accent) said how was my maintenance package with them, and he could discount it this year. Asked how much I was paying last year, gave a figure of £148, total rubbish as I do not have any package with them, Said if I did not renew I was in breach of last years non existent phoney package. Asked him for my account details and rang off when asked..............TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS SO BEWARE!

Unwanted call suggesting local checks were needed. Avoided questions and sounded scripted.

This number contacted me without permission. The caller jumped between Sky maintenance and energy related topics.
