Scam call from foreign accent sounding male trying to get personal details. Wanting to send me a new mobile phone sim card, saying mine will no longer work due to upgrade on Three/Vodafone merger. He hung up when I refused to co-operate.

Said they were from Virgin media. Usually I get lots of calls from O2! I said I wasn't with Virgin and they hung up.

Feel uncomfortable about the call as was asked personal questions about different providers that I use, tried to be vague but he asked me to confirm my name several times which made me suspicious, wish I had just put phone down now. He ended by asking if I was interested in a call about something which I declined! Had a couple of calls today so hopefully it was just marketing!
