It was about my loft. Insisted on knowing house name and post code and my full name. Someone else would phone to make an appt to come and survey the house for energy efficiency. Was this a follow up from a call I had earlier from 01473 943670 I wonder, which was about loft insulation and checking any damage from previously installed spray foam insulation? The 01296 number said someone else would phone later to arrange an appt for a surveyor to visit - as had the 01473 number before. The 01473 claims to have rung on behalf of Gov.uk.

I explained that I do not a loft, as was about loft insulation. Guy called me a F-n liar!!! This is absolutely appalling! I was not in anyway rude to this person, merely explained I don't have a loft!
